Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Me

I work in private practice with adults with many difficulties and I specialise in depression, ADHD, anxiety and bereavement.

Talking about the most difficult experiences or the most difficult parts of oneself can be challenging, but it is also an essential part of development and change. I provide a safe, open and calm environment which allows clients time and space to learn about themselves and to explore complicated internal experiences, with confidence and compassion.

My background is in writing and journalism, and I completed my psychotherapy training at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic in London, which included an MA and five-year clinical adult training. I have been seeing patients, often with complex needs, for more than 15 years working at St Bart's Hospital, Homerton University Hospital and the Tavistock and Portman Clinic. I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and abide by their strict code of ethics and confidentiality. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP).
